Port Cares 50/50 is Back

Someone will start the New Year by winning a lot of cash!

You can buy tickets for the Port Cares 50/50 draw now. 

Tickets are five for $10, 20 for $20 or 100 for $40. 

The grand prize will be drawn at 6:00 p.m. on New Year's Day. 

This time around, there will be early bird draws every day until Christmas Eve. 

The early bird prizes are all worth $100 or more, and include items like gift cards and gift baskets from retailers such as Food Basics, Pet Valu and Canadian Tire. 

Early bird prize winners will still be eligible for the draw to win half the pot on January 1st. 

Funds raised will support Port Cares Give a Gift program and Christmas dinners and gifts for over 130 people. 

The Give a Gift program provides toys, clothing, books and warm boots for about 420 to 500 children of low income parents.
