One man has been charged and another is wanted, after an incident in a Niagara Falls hotel room.
It happened in the Queen Street and Zimmerman Ave area last night.
The NRP says a 38-year-old man tried to break into the hotel room, and assaulted three people and a dog.
Police say 40-year-old Randy Gerald Lanteigne armed himself, assaulted the other man and took off before police arrived.
He is now wanted for assault with a weapon.
The 38-year-old had to be airlifted to an out-of-town hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
He has been charged with multiple offences; including forcible entry, three counts of assault and killing/injuring an animal.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian, but died afterwards.
