They say a suspect broke in using an ATV
Police are looking for some wine that was stolen from a winery in Niagara on the Lake.
They were called on Saturday to the store on Concession 5 Road, to find out an unknown man arrived at the store two nights earlier, on an ATV, just before midnight.
He used the ATV to break a door, grab some wine within, then fled on the ATV.
Police say the suspect returned two more times throughout the night, stole more wine, and took off on the ATV.
The suspect is described as follows.
- Medium build
- Wearing a black, full-faced, motorcycle helmet
- Green jacket
- Brown pants
- Black shoes
- Black backpack
The ATV is described as follow.
- A newer model ATV
- Black/grey in colour
- Two-up style seat (for two people) with a backrest
- LED headlights.
