33 year old man sustains life threatening injuries
Police tell us an officer was on his way to a call when he spotted a man in the middle of the southbound lane of Crowland Avenue early yesterday morning, just after 5:00.
The officer stopped his vehicle and activated his emergency lights to attend to the pedestrian.
That's when a Honda Civic operated by a 55 year old man was travelling southbound on Crowland and struck the pedestrian.
The investigation is ongoing.
