It happened on the 403 near Hamilton, when a driver pulled over for a "police car"
Some very scary moments for a driver on the 403 near Hamilton.
Police say it was just after midnight, a week ago Monday, when the driver was heading west, near Alberton Road.
The driver noticed a vehicle behind with flashing, bright lights, so, thinking it was a police officer, pulled over.
Police say the driver in the flashing light vehicle got out, approached the first car with what's believed to be a chisel in his hand, and yelled at the victim to get out.
Police say the suspect couldn't start the vehicle, and left in the vehicle with the lights.
The suspect is dark-skinned, wearing a blue, surgical face mask and baseball hat, the victim couldn't describe the vehicle.
Police are asking for anyone who was in that area at around 12:30am, Monday, September 15th, that might have video to call them.
