A store in the Pen Centre was targeted last night, when 5 suspects smashed display cases
It has happened again.... a jewellery store robbery at the Pen Centre.
Police say it was just before 9, last night, when five masked thugs barged into the mall at a west side entrance, armed with hammers and carrying bags.
They ran to the nearest jewellery store, smashed display cases, and took an unknown amount of items before taking off through the doors they came in.
Police say they took off in a black 2021 Honda Civic with Ontario licence plate DCPP 820, which had been reported stolen from another region on Sunday.
Video from the store shows the thieves are young, three dressed in black, one wore a red hoodie, one had a grey hoodie.
Police are asking anyone who has video to call them.
Jewellery stores in the mall have been robbed in the last year, as have stores in Beamsville and Grimsby, in similar fashion.
