Fourteen businesses targeted.
Two people have been arrested following a string of break and enters.
The incidents, which took place in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, involve 13 restaurants and a gas station.
Police say in each incident, glass windows or doors were smashed, and cash and valuable items were taken.
In some cases, a suspect would enter the business and fled to a waiting getaway car.
Yesterday, police arrested 44 year old Matthew Scott Ryce of no fixed address and 31 year old Hillary Mary Lee Harris of Niagara Falls.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111.
