Dan Patterson has been named President Emeritus of Niagara College.
He was the president of the college for 25 years, before this retirement this past February.
Board Chair John Scott says Patterson played a big role in the dynamic evolution of the college over the years and his new Emeritus status will acknowledge his remarkable contributions.
Patterson also recently received the Distinguished Service Award for 2020, from College and Institutes Canada’s Presidents’ Leadership Network.
CICan President and CEO Denise Amyot says Patterson left a mark on Niagara College and the entire network of Canadian colleges and institutes, as one of their longest sitting presidents.
