Niagara Regional Police arrested two men on Thursday
Two men are facing charges in connection to some stolen property in Welland.
On Thursday, Niagara Regional Police attended an area of Cooks Mills in relation to two males cutting up parking meters.
Officers attended the area and located the two suspects who were also found to be in possession of some stolen tools.
Investigation determined the two suspects were responsible for a break and enter that occurred in Welland earlier this month, where construction tools valued at more than $30-thousand dollars were taken.
The suspects were also found to be in possession of parking meters that had been stolen from the City of Niagara Falls along with licence plates that had been stolen in the City of St.Catharines.
43 year old Jamie Rovers of Niagara Falls and 37 year old Shane Cowell of Welland are charged with break and enter to commit theft, and possession charges
Both suspects were released from custody with a future court date.
