Phyllis Webstad to visit Niagara College's Niagara-on-the-Lake campus on September 22nd.
Students and staff at Niagara College will soon have an opportunity to learn more about the impacts of the residential school system in Canada.
Phyllis Webstad, the founder of Orange Shirt Day, will visit the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus on September 22nd.
Webstad is a survivor from St. Joseph's Mission Residential School in Williams Lake, B.C.
The event will take place in the courtyard from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Attendees will be encouraged to show support by wearing orange.
