Province could switch from masking mandate to recommendation next month.
Ontario's top doctor says he plans to review masking mandates next month.
In his weekly COVID-19 update, Dr. Kieran Moore said he plans to review the mask mandate in the second or third week of March, after capacity limits and proof of vaccination requirements are lifted on March 1st.
He noted the mandate would be reviewed for all settings, including schools and public transportation, and some settings may see the mandate lifted before others.
Moore went on to say the province could transition from a mask mandate to a recommendation.
