Top doctor says risk of getting virus if you're unvaccinated is 6.4 times higher
Ontario's Chief Medical Officer says the province is preparing to release some new statistics in an effort to convince those with vaccine hesitancy to roll up their sleeves.
Dr. Kieran Moore says Ontario will soon provide numbers on how many COVID-19 cases involve unvaccinated people.
Moore adds there are also about 1.8 million eligible Ontarians who still need a second dose.
Moore warns they fully expect to see a rise in the number of cases involving the Delta variant in the coming months
