Ontario Reports 2,427 New COVID-19 Cases

Just over 1,000 people hospitalized with the virus, with 297 in ICUs.

The province is reporting 2,427 new COVID-19 cases and 35 new deaths today.

There were 21,550 tests completed yesterday.

Officials confirming 1,003 hospital patients with the virus, 49 percent admitted due to COVID-19.

There are 297 ICU patients battling COVID-19, 24 percent having the virus but were admitted for other reasons.

More than 31.6 million vaccinations have been administered to date in Ontario.

About 92.6 percent of Ontarians aged 12 and older have one dose, and 90.5 percent have two.
