Another uptick in the number of new COVID-19 cases in Ontario today.
The province is reporting 1,135 new cases with over 37,700 tests completed.
The death toll is now is 8,697 after 19 more people died.
There are 1,072 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and 650 are in ICUs.
Over 8.5 million vaccinations have been administered in the province.
