Victim remains in serious but stable condition in hospital.
One person has been arrested in connection to a stabbing in the Garden City.
Earlier today, police were called to the area of Albert and Lake Streets in St. Catharines.
Officers say two people had been involved in an altercation at a nearby residence, and a male victim was stabbed numerous times.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Shortly after, police identified and arrested a suspect.
Forty-eight year old Robert Stockwell of St. Catharines has been charged with aggravated assault.
Stockwell will appear in court tomorrow.
