One Injured in Fort Erie Crash

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision in Fort Erie.

Officers were called to Netherby Road and Snyder Road around 6:00 a.m. this morning.

Investigators claim a grey 2017 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a 2019 red Chevrolet pickup truck.

The 29 year old motorcyclist was taken to an out of region hospital with critical injuries.

The 27 year old truck driver wasn't hurt.

The NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit was called in to investigate, and are being assisted by the Forensic Services and Traffic Enforcement units.

There were roads closures during the investigation, but all roads were re-opened by about 12:30 p.m.
