The checkpoint was conducted in Queen Victoria Park on Friday night.
Officers stopped 86 vehicles, and issued one breathalyzer test.
One person received a three day license suspension.
Police also issued two warnings and two provincial offences summons.
The summons were for Driving While Under Suspension and Permitting an Unlicensed Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.
