The NRP is seeing an influx in off-road vehicle complaints.
People in Welland and Port Colborne have been voicing their concerns about the noise, property damage and even a lack of concern for public safety.
Police are reminding all off-road vehicle drivers that they’re not allowed on public or private property without permission from the landowner.
They also have to meet all of the necessary requirements under the Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act before they can travel on public roads.
Officers have been patrolling the Welland and Port Colborne area in order to address some of these complaints.
