Three arrested near Real Canadian Superstore in Grimsby
Police busted three suspects after a stolen vehicle was spotted in the parking lot of the Real Canadian Superstore in Grimsby.
Officers responded after getting a call about two men acting suspicious near a car in the lot.
When police arrived, a black Honda Civic sped away at a high rate of speed.
A short time later it was found hidden behind a large snowbank on the South Service Road.
That's when officers discovered it has been stolen earlier this month from a home in St. Catharines.
A man and a woman were still in the passenger seats of the car and were placed under arrest.
During the takedown, a third person approached the vehicle and he was also handcuffed.
Facing a charge of possession of stolen property, 42 year old David Stewart, 33 year old Trevor McCord-Poole and 26 year old Danielle Walker, all from St. Catharines.
