He'll get to shake hands with Governor General Julie Payette, as he officially becomes a member of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces.
According to the St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Regional Police Chief Bryan MacCulloch will be part of a special ceremony at Rideau Hall today.
He'll be honoured alongside 40 other officers from across Canada.
The Order of Merit of the Police Forces was first established in 2000. It recognizes members and employees of Canadian police forces, for their exceptional service and merit.
