Charges have been laid in an NRP investigation that dates back to over two-years.
Police started looking into a report of a failed business arrangement back in December 2017.
A 62-year-old man from Niagara-on-the-Lake was arrested on Thursday.
He has been charged with fraud over $5,000 and false pretense.
He will appear in a St. Catharines courtroom next month.
