NRP release latest impaired driving stats.
Eight people are facing impaired driving charges following a series on RIDE checks in Niagara.
The charges were laid between August 29th and September 4th.
The individuals range from 22 to 74 years old.
Charges were laid for driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.
Five of the offenders were from Niagara Falls, and the other three were from Port Colborne, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Lowbanks, ON.
