It was a busy month for Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire and Emergency Services.
It responded to 61 calls last month including 15 fire alarms, 12 fires, 11 car crashes and 10 calls for medical assistance.
Four of the calls also were related to gas or carbon monoxide.
The department responded to 67 calls in July including 19 fire alarms, 16 car crashes and 13 fires.
