Another Niagara municipality will discuss the idea of making masks mandatory in indoor public spaces.
Niagara-on-the-Lake Lord Mayor Betty Disero says Regional Council failed to act Wednesday night when they deferred their motion to their next meeting on July 23rd.
She says Town Council will discuss the matter on Monday.
If everyone agrees Disero will hold a special meeting shortly afterwards to pass a bylaw as soon as possible.
She says making masks mandatory would help residents feel safer to go out in public and it would help local shop owners.
St. Catharines City Council will vote on a bylaw Monday night and Niagara Falls City Councill will also discuss the matter on Tuesday.
