Police seize purple and pink fentanyl along with cocaine
An investigation into the sale of fentanyl in Niagara has led to the arrest of a suspect from North York on drug trafficking charges.
Police arrested 33 year old Shadrach Williams in the area of Manchester Avenue and Hampstead Place in St. Catharines shortly during the lunch hour yesterday.
A search of the suspect turned up two cell phones, 70 grams of dark purple, purple and pink fentanyl, 20 grams of cocaine, and $5554.75 in cash.
Police say in total, the drugs have an estimated street value of $30,000.
