No New Trial for Two Men Convicted of Plotting to Derail a Train in Niagara

It looks like there will be no new trial for the two men accused to plotting to derail a train in Jordan Station.

Raed Jaser and Chiheb Esseghaier were both found guilty of terrorism charges five years ago.

The Ontario Court of Appeal ordered a new trial for them last year because the jury was not chosen properly.

After a hearing yesterday, the Supreme Court decided against a new trial because the jury error did not harm fair trial rights.
