You will need to think twice if you're thinking about parking on the side of the road in Port Colborne.
The city has banned parking on the roads close to the Lake Erie shoreline including Weaver Road, Cedar Bay Road and Vimy Ridge Road.
If you park in these areas you might find a ticket on your vehicle later.
Director of Engineering Chris Lee says the parking ban should help improve traffic flow and ensure public safety.
The ban starts today and it will remain in effect until October 13th.
