The City of Welland has decided to cancel Concerts on the Canal due to COVID-19.
The summer series was supposed to kick off in Merritt Park on June 26th and it was going to include eight musical performances this year.
BIA Chair Kelly Jones says cancelling the music festival is the right decision in order to protect everyone's health.
The City has cancelled all public events, programs and closed all public facilities until the end of June.
