There were 2 blitzes looking for drugs hidden in horse trailers
Members of the OPP's Equine Drug Unit teamed up with Canada Border Services Agency and other forces to conduct drug inspections at the Peace Bridge.
From May 8th-11th and May 15th-17th, officers searched horse trailers coming into the country.
No charges were laid, but officials say information on transporting veterinary medicine into Canada was given out.
The EDU follows the horse racing guidelines set out by the Gaming Commission of Ontario.
