You won't be able to get tested at one of the local COVID-19 assessment centres on the holiday Monday.
Niagara Health says the locations in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland will be closed for Labour Day but they will reopen for the rest of the week.
Niagara Health's emergency departments and urgent care centres will remain open but they will not test patients for COVID-19.
Those looking to get tested for the virus should call 905-378-4647 with extension 42819 in order to book an appointment.
The assessment centres in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines are open for 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday.
The Welland assessment centre is usually open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
