Niagara has 5,587 active cases of the virus, with St. Catharines and Niagara Falls reporting the highest numbers.
Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 266 new cases of COVID-19 today.
The death toll remains at 448, and there are 123 Niagara Health patients with the virus.
Twenty of the patients are in the ICU, and 78 are being treated primarily for COVID-19.
Throughout the region, there are 5,587 active cases, including 1,662 in St. Catharines and 1,152 in Niagara Falls.
There are also 65 active outbreaks.
More than 909,000 vaccinations have been administered to date.
About 85.2 percent of eligible residents have one dose and 80.1 percent have two.
