Students can be fully vaccinated if they get second dose by August 24th.
The Niagara Region says #VaxToSchool planning starts now!
Children return to school on September 7th, which means that those who are eligible for the vaccine can be fully immunized if they get their second dose by August 24th.
Kids between 12 and 17 are eligible to get the Pfizer vaccine, and need to wait 21 days between doses.
Teens who haven't received a dose yet can still get their second by August 24th if they get their first dose within the next week.
Walk ins are available at all Niagara Region Public Health COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and appointments can also be made through the provincial booking portal.
A full list of local clinics can be found here.
