Starting May 1st, garbage bag tags will cost $2.85 each
The Niagara Region is increasing the price of garbage tags.
Starting May 1st, the price will be $2.85 per tag, which is up from $2.50.
Residents living in homes or apartments with six units or less can purchase tags if they need to put out an extra bag or can on their collection day.
Tags can be bought at over 100 stores across the region.
