Niagara-on-the-Lake is getting a national honour.
The Town has been voted Canada's most beautiful and sustainable events destination.
Other nominees for the distinction include Banff, Vancouver, St. John's, Quebec City and Charlottetown.
A representative was assigned for each nominee to highlight the beauty and sustainability of the area.
Lord Mayor Betty Disero says the win a great achievement for the area.
"This is such a great honour to be voted Canada’s most beautiful and sustainable events
destination... I look forward to welcoming tourists and visitors back to experience all
that is beautiful, unique and wonderful about our Town, once it is safe to do so."
