50-50 draw launched March 1st
Niagara Health Foundation has launched its second community-wide 50/50 lottery.
Participants will have a chance to win one of five -$1,000 early-bird prizes as well as the grand prize which is guaranteed at $20,000.
Tickets for the Niagara Health Lottery are 3 for $10, 40 for $20 and 200 for $50.
The deadline for the early bird-draws will be on March 18th at 11:59 pm, with the winners announced on March 19th.
The Lottery will continue until April 8th at 11:59pm, and the winner will be announced the next day.
All proceeds from the Niagara Health Lottery will support urgently needed patient-care equipment like ultrasounds, endoscopy equipment and patient beds at Niagara Health.
The first community lottery the Foundation ran was met with tremendous support.
The winner, Jackie Billard, was awarded the grand prize of $110,000.
The Foundation expects the prize to be bigger at the end of its second Lottery.
