Hospital asked public to avoid site after chemical incident at THK in St. Catharines
Niagara Health is confirming operations have returned to normal.
23 patients were sent to the St. Catharines hospital after a hazardous materials incident at THK Rhythm Automotive.
Niagara Health confirms all of the patients were assessed and are expected to be discharged today.
Niagara Regional Police confirm they responded to the business located in the area of Louth Street and Ridley Road shortly after 10:30 this morning regarding a workplace accident.
Both the Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Environment have been notified about the incident.
