The Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre has issued a statement after a Muslim family was murdered in London.
The centre is demanding justice for the Afzaal family, after four of its members were run over while taking a walk on Sunday.
The statement notes incidents such as this are all too common.
"The Muslim community is all too familiar with violent acts of Islamophobia, such as the attacks on Muslim women in Alberta, the killing of a mosque volunteer in Etobicoke and the Quebec City mosque massacre, to just name a few."
The centre is offering mental health support to Muslim students.
