Man in his 70s hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Niagara Falls.
An arrest has been made in connection to a Niagara Falls hit and run.
Officers say around 6:30 last night, a red Ford Focus was traveling southbound on Drummond Road near Summer Street, when it hit a man walking northbound on the west shoulder of the road.
The car drove off and hit a tree, at which point the driver got out of the vehicle and ran northbound on Drummond Road.
The 78 year old victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries in hospital.
Sixty-six year old James Carrier of Niagara Falls was arrested around 7:05 p.m. near Portage Road and North Street, and faces numerous charges.
