Camillo Cipriano says vaccines remain a parental decision
The head of the Niagara Catholic school board tweeting out there is no requirement for families to vaccinate their child in order for them to return to school
Camillo Cipriano says "Vaccinations remain a parental decision. All students may return in September."
In a letter to parents, the Director of Education says " Exactly what the new school year will look like remains to be seen. We hope that we can begin the year with
all of the events and activities that usually come with the start of school, particularly the outdoor ones, and build from there."
Cipriano adds "We are planning for a full, safe return to school in September, every day, for all of our students from Kindergarten to Grade 12."
He says remote learning will still be an option and families of elementary school children will receive a survey next month about what their plans are for the coming year.
