Thirteen Niagara Catholic schools are reporting new cases of COVID-19.
The following cases have been confirmed during the spring break up until 5:00 p.m. today.
- Alexander Kuska Catholic Elementary School in Welland - two cases
- Father Hennepin Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls- two cases
- Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls - one case
- Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Niagara Falls - one case
- St. Augustine Catholic Elementary School in Welland- five cases
- St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls - one case
- St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School in Port Colborne - one case, no risk of exposure to the school community
- St. Philomena Catholic Elementary School in Fort Erie - one case
- Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Grimsby - one case, no risk of exposure to the school community
- Denis Morris Catholic High School in St. Catharines - one case
- Notre Dame College School in Welland - one case
- Saint Michael Catholic High School in Niagara Falls - one case
- Saint Paul Catholic High School in Niagara Falls - one case
All affected staff and students are self-isolating.
Niagara Catholic is asking the public to continue following the advice of Public Health in order to reduce the spread of the virus.
