Museum to house Lincoln artifacts and exhibits
A new museum is coming to Lincoln!
The Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre: Home of the Jordan Historical Museum will open its doors tomorrow.
The new facility is located at 3800 Main Street in Jordan, and will house artifacts and exhibits showing Lincoln's history in Niagara.
The project was funded by individuals, businesses and the Government of Canada.
Lots of programs will take place in the summer, including STEAM Saturday for kids 6 to 12, guided nature walks, wine painting 18+, and more.
Exhibits will include Our Story, Belonging, Common Ground and Fraktur.
Until the end of August, free drop-in tours of the two historical buildings will be available.
You can also get a free guided tour of the exhibits on Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
The Museum's grand opening is planned for the weekend of October 2nd - 3rd.
