Members of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association will walk off the job for one-day on Tuesday January 21st, if there is no agreement with the province beforehand.
NCDSB says parents should have a plan in place for child care, just in case.
The OECTA also started a work-to-rule campaign yesterday.
It targets administrative duties; including report card comments and standardized testing.
This means the NCDSB students will take the EQAO Grade 9 Mathematics assessment in June, instead of January.
