Bill now goes to Senate for approval
Yesterday, a bill that would allow gambling on single sports games passed third and final reading in the House of Commons.
Supporters are hoping history doesn't repeat itself, attempts in 2015 and 2016 to bring in single sports betting both failed.
A couple dozen or so U.S. states, including New York, have moved to legalize single event betting.
There have been fears that will end up hurting border casinos like Niagara Falls and Windsor.
