Jennie Stevens joins Ontario health care workers at Queens Park to call for an end to Bill 124.
St. Catharines MPP Jennie Stevens is once again urging Doug Ford's government to scrap Bill 124.
Stevens joined health care workers from across the province at Queens Park today, to ask the province to scrap the bill.
The group delivered postcards written by frontline health care staff to the Premier.
The legislation, which was enacted in 2019, caps public sector wage bumps at one percent a year.
Outside Queens Park supporting our frontline healthcare workers - many of them I know from Niagara - that want to see #RepealBill124.

It was bad policy before the pandemic, and when nurses and frontline staff are pushed to their limits by the pandemic, it is outright damaging. pic.twitter.com/YaIlnV8tcd
