Motorist Facing Drunk Driving Charges Following Two Vehicle Crash in Port Colborne

Crash happened yesterday afternoon on Highway 3

Emergency responders were called out just after 4:00 in the afternoon after a Dodge Ram pickup rear ended a stopped Ford Escape turning north from Highway 3 onto Brookfield Road.

Fire fighters were called in to free a woman trapped in the back seat of the Escape.

She was airlifted to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.

A total of three people were taken to hospital.

The driver of the Dodge Ram was charged with three counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
