The six water treatment facilities in Niagara are getting top grades from the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks.
The facilities have received a rating of 100 percent.
The rating is an indication of the Region's commitment to meeting the province's standards for the quality of drinking water.
An inspection rating of less than 100 percent doesn't necessarily mean the drinking water in unsafe, but it does show where improvements can be made.
Every year, in addition to monitoring water quality, the Ministry also examines other aspects of water operations including reporting, record keeping and certification.
