The company says the change will take effect over the next few weeks.
This means links to news articles and other content posted by Canadian publishers and broadcaster won't be viewable on the platforms.
This comes after the Online News Act became law this summer.
The bill requires tech giants to pay Canadian news outlets for content shared on their platforms.
