Multiple government sources confirming earlier this week that the controversial Arrive-CAN app could be scrapped by the end of the month.
Niagara politicians and business leaders have been highly critical of the app blaming it for long delays at land border crossings and hindering tourism recovery.
The final decision on the various tools the Liberal government has put in place at the border to keep Canadians safe, including the country's vaccine requirement, rests with the Prime Minister.
