Man/Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking

Police found some cocaine in two places in Niagara Falls

Two people have been arrested after police found more cocaine and other drugs in Niagara Falls.

They began a certain investigation last month, and yesterday searched two addresses, and found:

  • 142.9 grams of cocaine (estimated street value of $14,290)
  • 480 dilaudid pills (estimated street value of $9,600)
  • $2665 in Canadian currency

Police say 31-year old Marcus Roye of Toronto is charged with:

  • Traffic in a schedule I substance (cocaine)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000

34-year old Samantha Bartolini of Niagara Falls is also charged:

  • Traffic in a schedule I substance (cocaine)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000

She was released with a future court date, but he was kept in jail after a bail hearing yesterday.
