Father and son struck by truck, driver stabbed
Police say they were called to the corner of Ontario and Scott Street in St. Catharines last night around 7:30.
Police say a 45 year old man and his 6 year old son were struck by a pickup in the crosswalk of the intersection.
The driver, a 32 year old man got out of his truck, got into an argument with the father and was then stabbed.
He approached witnesses asking for help and was taken to hospital by ambulance with non life threatening injuries.
Police have charged 45 year old Ryan Garrett of St. Catharines with aggravated assault
